Studio in Rissington, Gloucestershire

This garden studio is one of our Salthouse Studios and it has been installed in this gorgeous garden belonging to a customer in the heart of The Cotswolds in Rissington, Gloucestershire. Our customer is a Pilates instructor so wanted a building they could use as a fitness studio that would be comfortable for teaching in all throughout the year. They opted for our Salthouse Studio as they wanted a building that was modern in style and that also allowed for plenty of natural light inside. Once the style of building had been selected by our customer, it was then over to our CAD designers to create the manufacturing plans of this tailor-made garden building. It was hand-made to order by skilled craftspeople inside our factory at our HQ in Norfolk before being delivered and installed at our customer’s address by our installations team. Delivery and installation by our experts are included in the price of our buildings as part of the end-to-end service we offer.

You can order our Salthouse Studio in over 25 standard sizes, as well as some customisable sizes. Our customer’s Salthouse measures 3.6 x 4.8m. It has an overhanging pent roof covered in heavy duty felt and shiplap cladding painted in the colour Ash from our exterior paint system. Our Salthouse Studio usually comes with a fully glazed front elevation with an additional glass panel on either side of the building. Our customer has opted for a fully glazed front elevation, with a single panel and a set of double doors in the left-hand side, and an additional two floor-to-ceiling length glass panels to the back of the building, which will give a light and airy feel inside and offer great views of the beautiful surroundings. Two fanlight windows have been installed in the right-hand side of the building to aid with internal ventilation.

To make this building suitable for year-round use, it comes fully lined, insulated, and double glazed as standard. Our customer has also chosen to add an electric pack to their building as an optional extra, which will help to supply the building with power and lighting. The walls are lined with Ivory painted matchboard and a natural lacquer has been applied to the floor, which will protect the timber while also giving it a nice sheen.
