3.0 x 4.0m Cley Summerhouse in Sundrenched Blue from our Exterior Paint System

This insulated Cley Summerhouse has been installed for a customer in Golford, Kent to be used as an extended living space from which they could entertain family and friends. They opted for our Cley Summerhouse as they liked its classic shape and elegant design. Once our customer had decided what style building they wanted, it was then up to our CAD engineers to draw the manufacturing plans to reflect our customer’s specification before it was hand-made from FSC® certified timber by our craftsmen inside our Norfolk factory. Like all of our garden buildings, delivery and installation by our installations team was included in the price to give our customer peace of mind that their building was being installed by our experts.

From 1.8 x 2.4m to 3.6 x 4.8m, our Cley Summerhouses are available in a wide range of standard sizes, with this customer’s measuring 3.0 x 4.0m. Our Cley has a hipped roof with windows in three out of the four sides, as well as in the double doors. The roof has been covered in cedar shingles and the windows are leaded in style, giving the summerhouse a traditional feel. Guttering has also been installed which will help to collect any rain run-off from the roof and deposit it away from the building, protecting the bottom boards from premature rotting.

As our customer is going to be using their building for hosting and entertaining, they wanted a building that would be comfortable for use throughout the year. The walls and ceiling on our Cley Summerhouse come lined and insulated as standard, and our customer has also opted to add floor insulation, which is just one of the optional extras our customers can choose from in order to tailor-make their garden building to their needs. The inside of the building has a light and airy feel with natural matchboard on the walls while the exterior shiplap is painted in the vibrant colour of Sundrenched Blue.
