1.8 x 2.4m Langham Studio Painted in Farrow & Ball Mouse's Back with Grey Slate Effect Tiles on the Roof

This small Langham Studio has been installed as an office for a customer based in Saxtead, Suffolk. Our customer wanted a building that would be suitable for working from home, so they opted for one of our fully lined and insulated Langham Studios that comes with desk height windows as part of its design. Our customer visited our show centre in Narford, Norfolk to take a look at our range of display buildings before deciding that our Langham Studio was the building best suited to their needs. After the building had been hand-made at our Norfolk factory, it was delivered and assembled at our customer’s address by our installations team, who are the experts in ensuring our buildings are installed to the high standards we pride ourselves on.

As our customer has a small garden, they wanted a garden building that was small in size without compromising on the functionality of their office. They opted for our 1.8 x 2.4m size, which is the smallest standard size we make our Langham Studio in, but we also offer them in a range of sizes with the largest being 4.8 x 6.0m. It has an apex roof with a single opening window and single door in the side, and a double window set, featuring one opening window, in the gable. The roof on this small garden office is covered in grey slate effect tiles and the windows are made using 4mm toughened safety glass and they are also double glazed. The outside of the building is clad using our smooth FSC® certified shiplap timber boards which have been coated in the shade Mouse’s Back, a grey brown colour from Farrow & Ball’s rich and fully opaque paint system.

To enable the building to be used all year round as a home office, the walls, floor and ceiling are lined and insulated, with our customer opting for the matchboard on the walls to be painted in internal Ivory. An electric pack has also been installed as extra in order to supply the building with power and lighting.
