The Holkham is a traditional building, with a pitched roof and clean lines. It has glazing in three out of its four sides, giving it a modern feel. It can be made in a range of sizes, with our customer opting for our 2.4 x 3.0m size for their summerhouse shed. They chose cedar shingles for the roof of their small summer house shed that will weather naturally to a beautiful silvery/grey colour over time, and weatherboard cladding made using timber boards that are left-sawn, giving the building heaps of rustic charm. The Holkham comes treated with a light oak preservative as standard, but if you would prefer to have your summerhouse delivered and installed with a painted exterior, we are able to do that. You can choose between our Exterior Paint System or a range of specially selected Farrow & Ball shades. Our customer opted to have their summerhouse painted using our Exterior Paint System in the shade Verdigris, which is a lovely blue-green colour that will blend in seamlessly with the surrounding greenery.
The Holkham comes unlined, making it the ideal summerhouse to relax inside during the warmer months of the year, or an attractive storage summer house shed. If you like the design of our Holkham but are wanting a year-round use building, we can add full insulation and lining and double glazing. We can also install electrics and a heater for further comfort.
Whether you are looking for an attractive storage solution like this customer, or a year-round use summerhouse to relax and enjoy your garden from, we have a wide variety of designs for you to choose from in our summerhouse collection. You can view our range of summerhouses online before paying a visit to one of our UK show centres. We recommend coming to see our buildings for yourself as you will be able to take a closer look at the high-quality materials we use to craft each one and see examples of the interior and exterior design options we offer to customise your building to your requirements.
