Our Superior Sheds come in a range of sizes, so you can have a shed that is very small or very large, depending on your requirements. You have the choice of an apex roof or pent roof shed design, and you can also choose the placement of your doors and windows to ensure the design of your new shed works well for its intended purpose. Our customer has opted for a Superior Shed measuring 2.4 x 4.8m. It has an apex roof design, with two single doors and windows in the side, two windows in the gable end, and an additional opening window in the other side. The roof is covered in heavy-duty felt and the windows are Georgian in style. The exterior is weatherboard clad, made using timber boards that are left sawn for a more rustic finish. The cladding has been treated with a Black Sikkens wood stain. The Sikkens wood stain will help to protect the timber and allow the grain of the wood to be seen through the stain while also achieving a high colour pay off.
Our customer has opted to have an internal partition included as part of their shed design, providing both a workshop space and storage area. The workshop space is the larger section of the shed and it has a workbench installed underneath the windows in the gable end. We make our workbenches using oak-faced plywood, providing a strong and sturdy space to tinker with tools and work on DIY projects. To protect any items of value being stored inside, our customer has chosen to have our security pack installed. The security pack includes a fully steel-encased 7-lever lock that is anti-picking, anti-prising, anti-cropping, and anti-sawing, and security screws on the door hinges that are impossible to unscrew. It also includes stainless steel bars mortised into the window frame during manufacture, but our customer chose not to have these installed.
