This Summerhouse is going to be used as a pool house by our customer based in Sulgrave, Oxfordshire. They opted for our Cley Summerhouse as they thought its classically elegant look would be in keeping with the style of their property. Like all of our buildings, it was designed to order by our CAD engineers and hand-crafted inside our Norfolk factory before being delivered and installed at our customer’s address by our installations team, who are the experts in ensuring our buildings are assembled to the highest of quality.

If you are considering a summerhouse of your own, our Cley Summerhouse is available in a range of sizes: from 1.8 x 2.4m to 3.6 x 4.8m, and plenty of sizes in between. Our customer has opted for a 2.4 x 3.0m size, giving them plenty of room inside to relax inside as well as store the pumps needed for their pool. The hipped roof on this building is covered in cedar shingles and the windows are leaded in style, giving the building a traditional charm. The olden style of this building is further accentuated by our customer choosing to have the shiplap clad exterior of their summerhouse painted in the colour Lizard from our Exterior Paint System.

Internally, the Cley benefits from having the walls and ceiling lined and insulated, making it suitable for year-round use. For further comfort, our customer has opted to have our electric pack with heater installed, supplying it with lighting, power, and additional warmth. The walls are lined in Ivory painted matchboard and a Light Oak lacquer has been applied to the floor, which will help to protect the timber while also giving it a nice sheen.
