Salthouse Studio with Engineered Flooring

All our contemporary Salthouse Studios are designed and hand-built at our Norfolk factory before being delivered and installed by our expert fitting team. This 2.4 x 3.6m studio was recently installed for a customer based in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire who wanted the perfect work-from-home office that also provides some extra outdoor storage space.

Internally, the building enjoys full insulation and painted pine lining, with engineered flooring. Five fully-glazed windows allow plenty of natural light to enter the building and an electrical pack allows both lighting and appliances to be used all year-round.

The customer opted to add a storage area, separated from the studio room by a partition wall and accessed by an external door. The roof is a pent style covered with heavy-duty, heat-bonded felt and the smooth shiplap cladding has been coated with Slate exterior paint.
