2.4 x 3.0m Thornham Summerhouse Painted in Pebble with a Roof Overhang

This stunning Thornham Summerhouse was recently installed in the beautiful country garden of a customer based in Petersfield, Hampshire. Handmade to order using sustainably sourced FSC© Certified Scandinavian Redwood timber, this attractive garden building was chosen by our customers looking for a relaxing, recreational space they could escape to during the summer months. Designed and handmade to order at our Norfolk HQ, the building takes its name from the quaint coastal area of Thornham on the Norfolk Coast AONB.

Selected from our range of stunning lifestyle garden buildings, this summerhouse measures 2.4 x 3.0m and has a sloping pent roof with a gentle overhang. Roofed with our torched-on, heavy-duty roofing felt, the building boasts a superior design and build quality with double doors, four opening windows and beautiful shiplap cladding. Inside, it is unlined and uninsulated as the customer only intends to use it during the warmer months. If they wanted an all-year-round space, our optional extras range from floor insulation right through to an electrical pack complete with heat, light and power. When left unlined like this one, our summerhouses are delightful spaces to entertain and relax throughout the warmer days of spring, summer and autumn.

Externally, the Thornham features horizontal shiplap cladding which gives it a timeless appeal. Each of our buildings can be finished in a range of opaque paint options, including an in-house menu along with a selection of Farrow & Ball shades. On this occasion, our customers chose the light, tasteful shade of Pebble from the Crane range. Installed atop a level concrete base as per the standard requirement with all of our installations, the building is also equipped with black guttering for some protection against the elements.
