Intended for use as a sewing room for the customer to use all year round, the summerhouse features a traditional apex roof which is clad with our heavy-duty, torched-on roofing felt as standard. Alternative roofing options include slate composite tiles and attractive cedar shingles. Accessed via a double summerhouse door, the building is equipped with polished chrome door and window furniture and has a smooth, shiplap cladding exterior finished in our opaque paint shade of Sage. Perched in a pretty part of the garden, before a smooth patio and colourful flowerbed, the summerhouse also sits on a level, professionally poured base - something which is pivotal for the longevity of any garden building.
Inside, this versatile garden building is fully insulated and lined with natural matchboard. We do offer various painted lining finishes, including a selection of Farrow & Ball eggshell shades. In this instance, our customers opted to leave the lining natural, which gives the summerhouse a wonderfully warm, cabin-like feel. By adding an electrical pack to their design, our customers will benefit from heat, light and power throughout the year and also take advantage of the externally-mounted socket when doing odd jobs outside. The building is also fitted with an opening window for ventilation, and so that our customers can enjoy the sounds, sights and smells of the great outdoors.
