This small garden studio is one of our Salthouse Studios. It was installed in Pontypool, Gwent for a one of our customers, who is a therapist by trade, and was in need of a room where they could work from home and hold one-to-one therapy sessions. All of our garden buildings are hand-made to order at our Norfolk factory, so once our customer had specified all that they required for their garden studio, we were able to tailor it to suit their needs. After it had been hand-crafted by the skilled craftsmen and women at our HQ, it was then delivered and expertly assembled by members of our trustworthy installations team which is included in the price of the building.

This Salthouse Studio measures 2.4 x 1.8m (8 x 6ft), but we offer our Salthouse Studios in more than 25 different sizes from 1.8 x 2.4m (6 x 8ft) to 4.8 x 6.0m (16 x 20ft), and we are also able to create more tailored sizes if required. To give the Salthouse its modern and stylish feel, it has been designed with a pent roof, covered in our standard heavy duty felt on this particular building, and shiplap cladding, made using FSC® certified timber, to give the exterior a smooth finish. One of the main design features of our Salthouse Studios is the fully glazed front elevation. This particular Salthouse has floor-to-ceiling glass panels covering the front side with an additional two panels on one of the sides, which allows for maximum light and a contemporary feel inside. It has also been fitted with an opening fanlight window in the back for ventilation purposes.

Our Salthouse Studios come fully lined with insulation in the walls, ceiling and floor as standard. This will ensure the inside stays warm in the winter and cool in the summer, enabling our customer and their clients use the building comfortably all year round. To supply their building with additional warmth, as well as power and lighting, our customer has chosen to add an electric pack with heater to their Salthouse, which is an optional extra for this style of building.

For decoration, the exterior timber is coated in the colour Slate from our exterior paint system while the inside has Ivory painted matchboard on the walls and a Natural lacquer applied to the floorboard, which will help to protect the timber as well as give it a nice sheen.
