Farrow & Ball Painted Garden Room in Blackpool, Lancashire

3.0 x 7.2m Garden Room with Inset Doors and Corner Boards painted in two contrasting Farrow & Ball colours, Wimborne White and French Gray

One of our spectacular Garden Rooms has been installed in Blackpool, Lancashire for a customer who wanted a large building that could be used as a family room as well as a home office space. Once our customer had selected the style of building they wanted, our in-house CAD engineers were then able to put of all of our customer’s specifications together in the manufacturing plans for the building. It was then brought to life by our skilled craftsmen and women as it was hand-crafted and made to order inside our factory at our HQ in Narford, Norfolk. As part of the end-to-end service we offer, it was delivered and assembled at our customer’s address by members of our expert installations team.

As all of our buildings are hand-made to order, we are able to make them in a wide range of standard sizes from 3.0 x 3.0m to 5.4 x 6.0m. We can also create more customisable sizes if you have a specific space in mind for the placement of your building, like this customer has with their 3.0 x 7.2m Garden Room.

Our customer has chosen to cover the hipped roof on their building with Canadian Blue Label Cedar Shingles, which are designed to naturally weather to a silver/grey colour over time to give the building a more classic look. To add to the traditional stylings of this building, our customer has opted to have six Georgian-style, opening windows installed as well as inset double doors and corner boards.

To decorate, the smooth shiplap cladding is painted with two contrasting shades from the Farrow & Ball exterior colour range, which is a rich, fully opaque paint system that is water resistant with anti-fungal properties. The colours our customer has chosen are Wimborne White for the door and window frames and French Gray for the rest of the exterior.

Internally, our Garden Rooms benefit from having full lining and insulation as well as an electric pack with heater installed as standard. Our customer has opted to have the matchboard lining on the walls painted in Slipper Satin from Farrow & Ball’s range of internal paint colours, and our engineered floorboards laid on the floor in the colour Heritage Oak.
