Painted Cley Summerhouse in Leeds, West Yorkshire

2.4 x 3.0m Pebble Painted Cley with Terracotta Slate Effect Tiles on the Hipped Roof

This stunning summerhouse, made using FSC® certified timber, is one of our Cley Summerhouses and it has been installed for a customer based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, who wanted a building that they could relax and enjoy their garden in all year round. After our customer has chosen the style of building they liked and all the optional extras they wanted, it was then designed by our in-house CAD engineers before being hand-made to order by the skilled craftsmen and women inside our factory located at our HQ in Narford, Norfolk. It was delivered and assembled at the customer’s address by our installations team, who are the experts in ensuring our buildings are installed to the high standards we pride ourselves on, which is all included as part of our end-to-end service.

Our Cley Summerhouses are available in a range of sizes from 1.8 x 2.4m to 3.6 x 4.8m, with plenty of sizes in between. Our customer elected for the 2.4 x 3.0m which suited the space they had available in their garden perfectly. Our Cley Summerhouses have windows in three out of the four sides, as well as in the double doors, this is to ensure a light and airy feel inside. As our customer is planning on using their building all year round, they have chosen to have their windows double glazed for additional comfort, and they have chosen to have the windows leaded in style to tailor the building to their taste.

The shiplap cladding on the exterior of the building has been coated using a colour from our fully opaque, high quality exterior paint system. The customer has selected the neutral-tone colour of Pebble which is in contrast to the terracotta slate effect tiles chosen to cover the hipped roof. Internally, the walls and ceiling of our Cley Summerhouses are lined and insulated as standard, this is to make sure the building is suitable for use throughout the year. Our customer has opted for the walls to be lined in our Natural Matchboard as they liked the warm feel it gave. They have also chosen to add electrics to their building so that they could have power and lighting inside.
