As each of our buildings are made to order, our CAD engineers were able to incorporate any extra design elements our customer wanted on their building, before each part was hand-built by our talent craftsmen and women inside our factory at our HQ in Narford, Norfolk. It was then delivered and assembled at our customer’s home by our expert fitters from our trusted installations team.
One of the defining characteristics of our Salthouse Studios is the fully glazed front elevation. It compromises of floor-to-ceiling glass panels that line the front of the building, with an additional panel on each side too. This is to allow for plenty of natural light inside, as well as adding to the contemporary feel of the building. There are also two opening fanlight windows fitted in the back wall of the building for ventilation purposes.
Our Salthouse is designed with a pent roof, which on this particular studio has been covered in heavy duty roofing felt and lined with black guttering. It also comes with shiplap cladding, made from FSC® certified timber, on the exterior as standard, which this customer has opted to have painted in the colour Taupe from our opaque exterior paint system.
Internally, this studio benefits from full internal lining and insulation in the walls, floor and ceiling to ensure the space is suitable for use throughout the year. Our customer has also opted to add an electric pack to their building as extra so that they could have power and lighting inside.
This Salthouse Studio measures 3.0 x 3.6m, but they are available in over 25 standard sizes if you require something bigger or smaller for your garden.
