2.4 x 4.2m Partitioned Salthouse Studio painted in Exterior Sage

This garden studio turned garden office, installed in Barnstaple, Devon, is one of our Salthouse Studios. It was selected by our customer as they wanted a contemporary building that was fully equipped for home working throughout the year. Designed and hand-made to order inside our Norfolk factory, our customer’s outdoor office was then delivered and assembled at our customer’s address by members of our skilled installations team. We include delivery and installation in the price of all our garden buildings as part of our end-to-end service.

We manufacture our Salthouse Studios in more than 25 different sizes, from a small 1.8 x 2.4m to a large 4.8 x 6.0m, with plenty of sizes in between and more customisable sizes available on request. This customer has opted for the 2.4 x 4.2m size to fit in with the design of their garden. Our Salthouse Studio has a pent roof design with a charming overhang. It is clad with a smooth shiplap and has a fully glazed front elevation to give it a modern feel. The roof is covered in heavy-duty felt, the windows are double glazed, and on this particular studio, the shiplap is painted in the colour Sage from our Exterior Paint System. As our customer also wanted to be able to use their building for storage purposes, we have installed an external partition measuring 2.4 x 1.2m.

To enable our customers to work comfortably inside all throughout the year, this building is fully lined and insulated, which comes as standard on our Salthouse Studios. To make it further suitable for use as an office, our customer has chosen to add electrics to their building, which is just one of the optional extras we offer our customers to customise their buildings. Our electric pack will enable the garden office to be supplied with power and lighting. Our customer has chosen natural matchboarding to line the walls and they have also opted to add a heavy-duty floor. Our heavy-duty floorboards are ex 38mm thick and will help to support the weight of the furniture our customer planned to put inside.
