Designed for use as a compact, convenient and versatile one-person office, the building is perfectly sized to accommodate a desk, chair and other day-to-day essentials such as storage and some lush leafy plants. The Classic Office comes with double glazing, insulation and lining, and the customer opted to have an electrical pack in order to ensure complete comfort all year round. This is essential if you’re looking for a garden office to work from several days a week, or of course full-time. An opening window will also ensure plenty of fresh air and ventilation, while the double studio summerhouse doors are perfect for getting ample natural light. For those wondering what exactly an electrical pack consists of, and why it’s beneficial for a garden office, our electrical pack adds light, heating and power, which is definitely something you’re going to need for your laptop, PC, printer and other office equipment. The pack consists of LED spotlights, four double sockets, an eight-way consumer unit, a waterproof external socket on the exterior of the building and an optional wall-mounted heater with LCD display.
Externally, the Classic Office features a pent roof clad with torched-on heavy-duty roofing felt, black guttering for protection from the elements and a subtle overhang with tapered walls to afford the entrance some shelter. The double door and windows feature polished chrome furniture and the smooth shiplap exterior is coated with our opaque Classic paint system in Cotton, which is a neutral shade perfect for enhancing your garden environment.
Prior to the building being installed, our customer opted to have us lay the concrete base below. If you’re considering investing in your own garden office, summerhouse or storage shed, having a high-quality, level base is vital, due to the impact that a poor base can have on the longevity of our timber buildings.
