12 x 8ft Chalet-style Summerhouse

This 12 x 8ft Chalet-Style Summerhouse is our Blakeney Summerhouse, which is just one of seven buildings available from our FSC® Certified timber summerhouse collection. It was designed on-site at our HQ in Narford by our CAD engineers before being hand-made to order by skilled craftsmen inside our Norfolk factory. Like with all of our garden buildings, delivery and installation at our customer’s address by experts from our installations team was included as part of the end-to-end service we offer.

In order to fit in with the design of their newly landscaped garden, our customer chose to have their Blakeney Summerhouse measuring 12 x 8ft in size. As we make all of our buildings to order, we are able to make the Blakeney Summerhouse as small as 8 x 6ft and as large as 16 x 20ft so you can have your building to a size that meets your requirements. Our Blakeney Summerhouse is chalet in style, with an apex roof covered in heavy duty felt that overhangs charmingly above the double doors. On this particular Blakeney, there are a set of our chalet-style windows on either side of the doors, an additional window on the left hand-side of the building and two windows on the right hand-side, all of which are double glazed at the request of our customer.

Our Blakeney Summerhouse comes unlined as standard making it a great building for use during the summer months. As our customer wanted to use their building all-year round, they opted to add full internal lining and insulation to ensure it remained comfortable inside all throughout the year. They have also chosen to add an electric pack so that their building can be supplied with lighting and power. To decorate, the walls have been lined with natural matchboard and the floor has a light oak lacquer applied which will help to protect the timber while also giving it a nice sheen.

This particular Blakeney Summerhouse is finished with shiplap cladding and sage paint from our exterior paint system.
