This modern looking garden building is a 10 x 12ft (3.0 x 3.6m) Holt Studio and it will fit perfectly into a corner of your garden. This customer wanted a relaxing, modern garden room to enjoy their garden from.
This Holt is a modern-style year-round use studio, with a pent roof, two solid walls to back into a corner of a garden, and two walls of glazing, with a roof overhang, and a veranda decking area, framed by “cheeks” to create external walls and make the veranda area feel contained.
Two walls of floor-to-ceiling glazing will allow an abundance of natural light inside the customer’s building, and will give them a wide, unhindered view of their garden when sat inside. This Holt has double doors with a window either side on the front side, the gable has two large windows, and the back wall has a single fanlight window for ventilation. The veranda is 0.6m deep, adding style to the building, and providing a spot for some plants, or a small table and chair set.
Our Holt’s have heavy duty felt on the roof, which is heat-bonded on to increase its longevity and to minimise maintenance. There is the option of choosing two paint colours for the outside of the Holt: one main colour, and you can also choose to have the cheeks painted in a different colour. This customer chose to have the main colour as Exterior Slate, and the cheek colour as Exterior Verdigris for a pleasing contrast.
This is a year-round use building, so included as standard, the Holt has double glazing, full insulation and solid pine natural lining on the walls and ceiling. The customer also chose to have an electric pack to provide light and power throughout the year, and internally they wanted to have the walls painted in Ivory for a light, bright feel.
Guttering lines the back wall to catch excess rainfall, and the final touch to this garden room is chrome door and window furniture.
