8 x 14ft Langham Studio

This 8 x 14ft fully insulated Garden Studio is one of our Langham Studios, and it has been installed for a customer who intends to use it as an art studio. Our customer opted for one of our studios as they come with full internal lining and insulation as standard, enabling them to use their building comfortably all year round. Once the style of building had been selected, our in-house CAD teams then set to work creating the manufacturing plans of the building to meet the specifications required by our customer. Like all of our building, it was hand-made to order by the skilled craftsmen and women inside the factory at our HQ in Narford, Norfolk, before being delivered and assembled at our customer’s address by members of our expert installations team, which is included in the price of the building as part of our end-to-end service. 

From 6 x 8ft to 16 x 20ft, our Langham Studios come in a range of sizes, with this customer’s building measuring 8 x 14ft (2.4 x 4.2m). Our customer wanted a building that allowed plenty of natural light inside, so they have chosen to have a fully glazed double door and a triple window set in the side, and a double window in the front gable and the gable end. To help with ventilation inside the studio, six of the desk height windows are opening, and two fanlight windows have also been installed.

The Langham comes with an apex roof as part of its design, which this customer has opted to cover in our Grey Slate Effect Tiles, providing the roof with the ultimate protection against UV rays, wind and hail. The roof tiles are complemented perfectly by the paint colour Lizard on the exterior shiplap cladding, which is a green-toned shade selected from our high-quality, weather resistant exterior paint system.

Internally, our customer has opted to have the matchboard lining painted in the shade of Ivory and our engineered flooring laid in the colour Shade Oak. Our customer has also chosen to add an electric pack as an optional extra, which will allow our customer to add power and lighting to their building.
