8 x 12ft Superior Shed with Apex Overhang

This 8 x 12ft garden shed has been installed for a customer who wanted a building that they could use as a reading room as well as a storage space. After visiting one of our UK show sites, they decided that our Superior Shed was the right building for them as they could choose the size and design features they wanted, in order to tailor the building to meet their requirements. It was designed by our in-house CAD engineers and hand-crafted by the skilled craftsmen and women we employ in our factory in Narford, Norfolk. It was then delivered and assembled at the customer’s address as part of our end-to-end service by our expert installations team. 

Our Superior Shed is available in a wide range of standard and tailored sizes, and numerous configurations, so that you can have a building that meets your required specification. This customer has opted for a shed measuring 8 x 12ft, designed with an apex roof, a single door in the gable, and a triple opening window set in the side. The roof has a charming overhang over the front gable, and it has also been fitted with guttering, which will help to collect rainwater and deposit it away from the building in order to protect the timber.

To add their own style to the shed, the roof has been laid with grey slate effect tiles and the shiplap timber on the exterior has been painted in the shade Lizard, a green-toned colour from our exterior paint system. Our customer has also chosen for the windows on their shed to be fitted with Georgian bars to give them a more classic look.

Internally, this building has an internal height of 2.0m to help the overall height comply with permitted development regulations. Our customer has chosen to have two of our workbenches to be installed, with one along the back wall and another under the windows. Our workbenches are made using oak faced ply to ensure they have a solid and sturdy finish.
