12 x 20ft Garden Room in Verdigris

This classically elegant and hand-crafted 12 x 20ft Garden Room was installed in the garden of a customer who wanted an additional living space for their family to use throughout the year. After our customer chose what style and all the design features they wanted on their building, our CAD engineers designed it to the customer’s specification before it was handmade to order by our team of experienced craftsman based in our Norfolk factory in Narford. Once the design and building process was completed, it was then delivered and assembled at our customer’s home by members of our expert installations team.

This Garden Room measures 12 x 20ft (3.6 x 6.0m) but they are available in a range of sizes from 10 x 10ft (3.0 x 3.0m) all the way up to 18 x 20ft (5.4 x 6.0m) meaning it can be tailored to your exact size specifications. It has a hipped roof that this customer has chosen to cover in grey slate effect tiles, and it is lined with white guttering, which will collect rainwater and deposit it away from the building. It has six double glazed leaded windows which are all opening and furnished with polished chrome furniture and an inset double door that is three quarter double glazed using 4mm toughened safety glass.

To give the building a rustic look, this customer has chosen our weatherboard timber cladding, machined from FSC® certified Scandinavian Redwood trees. To decorate, our customer has opted for two contrasting colours from our exterior paint system; with Ivory on the doors and windows and Verdigris everywhere else.

Internally, this building has been designed with Ivory painted matchboard lining and a Heritage Oak engineered floor. As this customer is going to put a lot of furniture inside the building, they have opted for our heavy duty 38mm thick floorboards to sit underneath their engineered flooring. To ensure maximum comfort throughout the year, our Garden Rooms come fully lined and insulated, and they also have an electric pack with heater included to add power, lighting and warmth to your building.
