8 x 10ft Cley Summerhouse in Pebble

This 8 x 10ft Summerhouse was recently installed for a customer who wanted a relaxing space where they could enjoy the beauty of their garden in peace. They wanted a traditional look to their garden building, so they opted for our Cley Summerhouse as they liked its classic square shape. Once the style of building and design features had been chosen by our customer, our in-house teams then set to work to hand-create this summerhouse. It was designed by our in-house CAD team and then made to order by skilled craftsmen in our factory at our Narford HQ in Norfolk, before being delivered and assembled by members of our expert installations team.

This summerhouse measures 8 x 10ft (2.4 x 3.0m) but our Cley range is available in a variety of sizes from 6 x 8ft (1.8 x 2.4m) to 12 x 16ft (3.6 x 4.8m) so we are able to tailor-make your building to suit your requirements. It has a hipped roof that this customer has chosen to cover in Cedar Shingle tiles, which are designed to naturally grey/silver over time, and weatherboard cladding, made from FSC® certified timber, that is designed to give the building a rustic look. To afford a light and airy feel inside, there are windows in three out of the four sides as well as in the double doors. The windows are all made from 4mm toughened safety glass and this customer has chosen to have them leaded in style, finished with polished brass furniture. Our customer has also chosen to decorate the outside by having it painted in the colour Pebble from our exterior paint system.

To ensure our Cley Summerhouse is comfortable for use throughout the year, it comes lined with insulation in the walls and ceiling. Internally, this particular summerhouse has Natural matchboard lining and our standard 19mm thick floorboards for the flooring.
