6 x 8ft Cley Summerhouse in Sundrenched Blue

This 6 x 8ft Summerhouse was installed for a customer who wanted a garden building to relax in during the warm, summertime months and beyond. Our customer chose our Cley Summerhouse as they liked the building’s classic shape and hipped roof. Once the style of building was selected, our customer then chose what features they wanted before our teams at our HQ in Narford, Norfolk designed and hand-built the building to order. Our expert installations team then delivered and assembled this Cley Summerhouse at the customer’s address.

Measuring 6 x 8ft (1.8 x 2.4m), this summerhouse is the smallest size Cley we make but we also design them in a range of sizes up to and including 12 x 16ft (3.6 x 4.8m). To allow plenty of natural light inside, the Cley Summerhouse has been designed with windows in three out of the four sides as well as in the double doors. This customer has chosen to have all windows in Georgian-style, four of which are opening, finished with polished brass furniture.

The roof on this particular Cley has been covered in Cedar Shingle tiles that are designed to naturally grey/silver over time, but you could also choose either our grey or terracotta slate effect tiles. This customer has chosen shiplap cladding for their building, which comes as standard on the Cley, machined from very high-quality Redwood trees, grown in Northern Sweden. This customer has opted to have their building painted in two contrasting colours from our exterior paint system; with Ivory on the door and window frames and Sundrenched Blue everywhere else.

Our Cley Summerhouse comes lined with insulation in the walls and ceiling to help increase comfort inside and turn the building into a retreat you can use whatever the season. This customer has chosen to have the matchboard lining on the walls painted in the colour Ivory with our standard 19mm thick floorboards on the floor. To ensure that they could have power and lighting inside, this customer has also added an electric pack to their order.
