Cley Summerhouse in Ilkley, West Yorkshire

This lovely little summerhouse is one of our Cley Summerhouses and it has been installed for a customer in Ilkley, West Yorkshire, who wanted a building at the bottom of their garden to relax in and enjoy the views of the landscapes that surround them. Like all of our buildings, it was designed by our in-house CAD engineers and hand-crafted to order using FSC® certified timber inside our factory at our HQ in Narford, Norfolk. It was then delivered and installed at our customer’s address by our installations team, who are the experts in making sure our buildings are assembled to the high standards we pride ourselves on. The delivery and installation of this summerhouse was included in the price as part of the end-to-end service we offer.

The Cley is one of our more traditional looking summerhouses as it has a square shape and a hipped roof. It features windows in three out of its four sides, as well as in the double doors, to give the building a light and airy feel inside. To further its classic look, our customer has chosen to have Georgian bars fitted to the windows and grey slate effect tiles laid on the roof, protecting it from UV rays, wind and hail. The shiplap cladding on the outside of this building is painted using our exterior paint system in the shade of Lizard. Lizard is a green-toned colour that will allow our customer’s summerhouse to blend in beautifully with their garden.

Internally, our Cley Summerhouse comes with lining and insulation on the walls and ceiling as standard. This particular Summerhouse also benefits from having floor insulation, which our customer has chosen to add onto their building as extra. Our customer wanted to continue the traditional style of this building to the inside, so they have opted for our natural matchboard for the lining.

This customer’s Cley Summerhouse measures 2.4 x 3.0m but as they are available in a range of standard sizes from 1.8 x 2.4m to 3.6 x 4.8m, we are able to create you a summerhouse that meets your requirements.
