1.8 x 4.8m Superior Shed in Sikkens Teak with Security Pack and Partition

Installed in Virginia Water, Surrey, this 1.8 x 2.4m shed was assembled in the garden of one of our customers. They opted for one of our Superior Sheds with a partition included as they wanted a garden building for use as both a workshop and a storage space. Once the design of the shed and what additional add-ons the customer wanted were chosen, it was then up to our in-house CAD engineers to design the building before the craftsmen in our Norfolk factory used their skills to hand-make it to order. To get the building to our customer’s address, it was delivered by members of our expert installations team and assembled by them too!

With our Superior range of sheds, you are able to choose what type of roof you would like as well as the placement of your doors and windows. This customer has opted for a pent roof design with a double door to the storage section, a single joinery-made door to the workshop space and a double window set all in one side length of the building and a single opening window in the gable end. The roof is covered in torched-on heavy-duty roofing felt and the windows have stainless steel bars mortised into the frames which is part of the security pack this customer has chosen to add on as extra. The security pack also includes non-returnable screws on the door hinges that are impossible to unscrew and a seven lever lock that is anti-sawing, anti-picking, anti-cropping and anti-prising.

This Superior Shed, like all of our garden buildings, is made using FSC® certified timber machined from Scandinavian Redwood. To give the exterior a smooth finish, it has shiplap cladding that has been treated with a Sikkens wood stain in the colour Teak which allows the grain to be seen through the stain as well as providing long lasting protection to the timber.

To meet local planning regulations, this building as an internal height of 1.85m. The larger section of this building comes unlined with no insulation while the smaller section has oak-faced ply lining on the walls and insulation under the floor.
