Entertaining Summerhouse in Shrewsbury

3.6 x 3.6m Wiveton Summerhouse Painted in Sage with Slate Effect Tiles

Timeless and stunning, this 3.6 x 3.6m Wiveton Summerhouse was recently installed for our customers based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire for use as entertaining space. A luxury wooden summerhouse sporting the classical octagonal shape, each of our Wiveton’s are made using FSC© Certified Scandinavian Redwood timber sourced from our partnering timber mill in Sweden. We only use timber grown sustainably in colder climates due to the dense nature of the wood and the lack of knots. Handmade to order at our Norfolk HQ, the summerhouse was then carefully transported, delivered and assembled onsite by our friendly fitting team.

Externally, the striking octagonal summerhouse allows the decorative finial and slate-composite roofing tiles to be admired from all angles. Our customer opted for smooth shiplap cladding painted in the opaque shade of Sage, which complements their garden beautifully. The building is equipped with two sets of opening windows and double summerhouse doors, which allows for plenty of natural light and fresh air to flood into the building. All glass is double-glazed and features a leaded design, which ensures warmth and comfort without compromising on the traditional style of the building.

The customer wanted their summerhouse to be equipped for year-round use, meaning they can truly make the most of their investment. To make this possible, we added an electrical pack with heater along with floor insulation for ambient comfort whatever the season. To finish off the interior with an attractive look, our customers also chose to paint the internal matchboard lining in ivory and add engineered flooring in dark oak. Once the install was completed by our expert team, the summerhouse was ready to use and enjoy.
