Morston Summerhouse with a Felt Roof

This Morston is 2.4 x 3.0m in size, and it has been installed in our customer’s garden in East Leake, Nottinghamshire to relax in during the summer month and enjoy their garden from. 

Heavy duty felt has been used on the roof of the summerhouse, which is a thick, propane torched on felt to make it highly durable and waterproof. Keeping things simple on the outside, the customer also only wanted our Light Oak preservative on the timber to keep it looking natural, and the cladding on the building is shiplap to give the timber a smooth finished. 

Internally, the customer opted for an electrical pack, natural matchboard lining on the walls, and insulation in the walls and the ceiling, so they will be able to use the summerhouse for more of the year and later in the evening on long summer days if they wish. 

The customer also had one of our Classic Sheds installed next to the Morston to use for storage, and this has got a felt roof and has been finished in our Light Oak preservative as well.
