Workshop in Ollerton, Nottinghamshire

There are two sections to this shed with the help of a partition to create a 3.0 x 1.2m section with a workbench to use as a small workshop and potting shed, and a 3.0 x 3.0m section to use for garden storage.

The workshop section has a single door with a 1.2m workbench running along the back wall. Our workbenches are made from oak faced ply and are 600mm deep to offer a solid, sturdy platform to work on.

The storage section has got double doors with windows in the front gable, and a set of three windows in the left-hand side. The customer chose our security pack to keep their belongings extra safe, which consists of a seven lever lock with a heavy duty sliding bolt (for both door sets), security screws that are impossible to unscrew for the doors hinges, and stainless steel security bars for the windows.

Heavy duty felt has been used on the roof, which has been heat-bonded on to increase its longevity, and the paint system our customer chose is our Sikkens wood stain, in the colour Grey. Sikkens enhances the natural beauty of the timber by allowing the grain to shine through.

The final feature the customer chose was to have a heavy duty floor instead of our standard floorboards. The heavy duty floorboards are ex 38mm thick instead of the standard ex 19mm thick. This is to help the floor take the weight of the heavy machinery the customer wishes to store in this shed.
