This Cley Summerhouse has been installed for a customer in Cley next the Sea, Norfolk, which is the beautiful coastal village our summerhouse is named after. Our customer wanted an attractive garden summerhouse that would add a touch of class to their garden, which is why they opted for our Cley. With the help of our advisors at our Norfolk HQ, our customer selected which of our exterior and interior options they wanted for their new made-to-order summerhouse before it was hand-crafted from FSC® certified timber by our skilled craftsmen inside our Norfolk factory.

Our Cley Summerhouse is an all-season retreat with insulation in the walls and ceiling. It has a classic shape with an elegant, hipped roof and windows in three out of its four sides. Our Cley Summerhouse is available in a range of standard sizes, with the smallest measuring 1.8 x 2.4m and the largest 3.6 x 4.8m. Our customer has opted for our 2.4 x 3.0m size, with grey slate effect tiles on the roof and plain windows. They also chose to have guttering installed on their garden summerhouse, which will help to collect water runoff from the roof and deposit it away from the summerhouse, protecting the bottom boards.

Our customer chose to have the exterior of their Cley Summerhouse clad with shiplap, which gives the building a smooth finish. To then decorate the exterior of your building, we offer a choice of colour from our Exterior Paint System, or you can upgrade to a Farrow & Ball colour if you wish. Our customer wanted the Farrow & Ball choice, with the Pigeon being the shade chosen. Internally, our customer chose Farrow & Ball painted matchboarding for the walls in the colour Slipper Satin and they also chose to have a natural lacquer applied to the floor. As mentioned previously, the walls and ceiling of our Cley Summerhouse are lined and insulated as standard, but for further comfort, our customer chose to have floor insulation added and electrics to supply their garden summerhouse with power and lighting.
