The Blickling Shed comes in four different sizes: 1.8 x 3.0m, 2.4 x 3.0m, 2.4 x 3.6m and 1.8 x 3.6m, which is the size that this customer has opted for. It’s named after the Blickling Estate in North Norfolk and its design is inspired by the outbuilding located within the estate. Like all our garden buildings, it has been crafted from FSC® certified timber, which is machined from Scandinavian Redwood grown close to the Arctic Circle in Northern Sweden.
Our Blickling Sheds have classic design features such as an apex roof covered in black corrugated sheeting, cast iron black door furniture with a mortice lock and a Georgian-style window set. They are also traditionally cladded using vertically sawn timber boards, which add to the overall rustic look of the building. Our Blickling is also designed with an additional feature that is different to all the other National Trust buildings in our range, which is a built-in log store that measures 900mm wide.
When it comes to decorating the exterior of our National Trust Buildings, you will have a choice of six colours from the National Trust Paint Palette, all of which have been inspired by the colours of nature. Our customer has chosen the shade Disraeli Green, a light green toned colour which will blend in with our customer’s garden beautifully.
If you would like to take a closer look at one of our Blickling Sheds, or any of the other garden buildings in our vast range, please pop by to one of our UK show sites.
