This 3.0 x 4.8m Burnham Studio has been installed in Dartford, Kent for a customer wanting a building to use as a garden gym. Our customer was in two minds as to whether they wanted a traditional or a more contemporary building so they opted for our Burnham Studio as it gives the best of both worlds, with its classic pitched roof and modern floor-to-ceiling windows. Working with our knowledgeable sales advisors, our customer picked what features they wanted for their building before it was designed and hand-made to order inside our Norfolk factory. It was then delivered and installed at our customer’s address by members of our expert installations team, which is included in the price of our buildings.

Painted in the Exterior Paint System colour of Pebble, this Burnham Studio has a smooth shiplap exterior and grey slate effect tiles on the roof. It has a fully glazed front elevation with two additional full-length windows to the left-hand side, which will allow for plenty of natural light inside the building. There are also two fanlight windows installed to the rear of the building which will aid internal air ventilation. A partition accessed by a fully glazed single door has been incorporated into the design as our customer wanted somewhere they could store items like mats and other small pieces of gym equipment when they are not being used.

Internally, our customer’s building benefits from being fully lined, insulated, and double-glazed, meaning they can work out comfortably inside all throughout the year. Our customer has also opted to have an electric pack with heater installed to supply the building with power, lighting, and heat. The walls are lined with Ivory painted matchboard and engineered flooring has been laid in the colour Heritage Oak. Heavy duty ex 38mm thick floorboards have been installed underneath the engineered flooring which will help to support the weight of our customer’s weighty gym equipment.
