Garden Room with Veranda in Godalming, Surrey

Our customers based in Godalming, Surrey were after a garden room where they could relax with family. They liked the look of a garden room with a veranda so they opted for our Pavilion Garden Room as its design includes a generous sheltered veranda, enclosed by a charming picket-style fence. As all of our buildings are designed to order by our CAD engineers, our customer was able to select everything from the size, window type and roof covering to the exterior and interior paint colours in order to create a building that was tailor-made to their requirements and tastes. Once designed, it was then hand-made to order from FSC® certified timber inside our Norfolk factory before being delivered and installed at our customer’s address by members of our expert installations team. Delivery and installation of all of our buildings is included as part of the price to give you peace of mind and to ensure they are built to the standards we pride ourselves on.

Our Pavilion Garden Room is available in more than 15 standard sizes, with the smallest measuring 3.0 x 3.0m and the biggest being 6.0 x 6.0m. Our customer opted for their building in the size 4.2 x 4.2m, which includes a 1.2m veranda. It has a lofty, dual-pitched apex roof covered in grey slate effect tiles and guttering has also been installed, which will help to collect rainwater run-off and deposit it away from the building. At the front of the building, there is a set of double doors and two opening windows that are Georgian in style, and at the back of the building there are two opening fanlight windows. Three Velux® windows have also been fitted in the ceiling to provide plenty of natural light inside as well as additional ventilation. The door and window frames and the picket fence have been painted in Farrow & Ball’s Pointing while the smooth shiplap cladding on the exterior of the building has been painted in Verdigris from our exterior paint system.

To enable the building to be comfortably used all throughout the year, the Pavilion Garden Room comes fully lined, insulated, and double glazed as standard. An electric pack with heater is also included, which will allow the building to be supplied with power, lighting, and warmth. The interior walls are painted in Farrow & Ball Pointing and engineered flooring has been laid in the shade Heritage Oak, which provides a lovely contrast.
