3.6 x 3.6m Holt Studio painted in Farrow & Ball Down Pipe & Manor House Gray with stylish pent roof design

We have installed one of our Holt garden studios in Harpenden, Hertfordshire for a customer wanting a modern building for their whole family to enjoy. After our customer chose what building and all the interior and exterior design options they wanted, our CAD engineers created the manufacturing drawings of this Holt Studio to meet our customer’s exact specifications. This outdoor studio was then hand-crafted to order from FSC® certified timber by skilled craftsmen inside our Norfolk factory. It was delivered and installed at our customer’s address by our installations team, which we include in the price of all our buildings as part of our end-to-end service.

The Holt is an ultra-modern studio with a pent roof and a small decked veranda included as part of its design. It has two exterior walls that connect the veranda and the roof overhang that we have named “Cheeks” as they nicely frame the building. The Holt is available in a left-hand and right-hand design in many different sizes. Our customer opted for our 3.6 x 3.6m size, which includes a 0.6m veranda to the front and right-hand side. This luxury garden studio features two walls of glazing so you can enjoy unhindered views of your garden while you relax inside. The roof is covered in heavy-duty felt and the exterior is clad with smooth shiplap. To finish the exterior, it is painted in a two-tone style using Farrow & Ball’s rich and fully opaque paint system. The main colour is Down Pipe, with Manor House Gray chosen to subtly highlight the “Cheeks” and underneath the roof overhang.

Internally, the Holt is fully insulated, lined, and double glazed as standard, ensuring year-round comfort. Our customer also chose to have electrics and a heater installed, so that their Holt was supplied with lighting, power, and additional warmth. The walls of this insulated garden studio are lined with Farrow & Ball painted matchboard in the shade Ammonite, and a natural lacquer has been applied to the floor, which will help to protect the timber while also giving it a nice sheen.
