The Blakeney has a chalet-inspired design that will bring a sense of the beach to your garden. It is available in many different sizes, with our customer opting for the 2.4 x 1.8m size, which is the smallest standard size we make the Blakeney in. It has an apex roof design, with a charming overhang. Our customer has chosen to have the roof covered in grey slate effect tiles and they also opted to have Georgian-style windows. The exterior is clad with shiplap, which gives a smooth finish. Our Blakeney Summerhouse is treated with a light oak preservative as standard, but if you would prefer to have it painted, we offer the option of upgrading to our Exterior Paint System or a shade from a specially selected range of Farrow & Ball colours. Our customer opted to have their summerhouse painted in Taupe from our Exterior Paint System.
The Blakeney is an unlined building as standard, making it the ideal summerhouse to enjoy during the warmer months of the year. Our customer wanted to be able to use their summerhouse year-round, so opted to add full insulation, lining, and double glazing. The walls and ceiling inside this wooden summerhouse are lined with natural matchboard, giving a warm, cosy feel inside.
As well as traditional summerhouses like our Blakeney, we have modern summerhouse designs for you to choose from in our summerhouse collection. We would always recommend visiting our UK show centres before deciding on a design as you can see our wide range up close, allowing you to truly get a feel for the quality of the FSC® certified timber we use.
