The Ickworth has a roof overhang that helps to shade the front of the summerhouse and helps to bring a chalet style to the building. Other features on this summerhouse include vertical sawn boards for the cladding, two opening windows, a corrugated roofing material, leaded glass and cast iron door and window furniture in a Fleur-de-Leys style.
To help the building blend in well with the customer’s garden, Terrace Green was the colour of choice (the darkest green) and so her summerhouse was painted accordingly. This deep shade complemented the black cast-iron roof and door furniture, creating an elegant look that still felt associated with nature.
All of these features give the summerhouse a very traditional feel and are really suited to customers with more antiquated tastes. However, with our extensive range of design features, you can customise your garden building to truly replicate your personal style.
