9 x 12ft Chalet Summerhouse with Veranda

This simple Morston Summerhouse has been installed in our customer’s garden to use as a place to relax and enjoy their garden from throughout the summer months.

9 x 12ft (2.8 x 3.6m) is a tailor-made size the customer asked if we could make to fit into the tight space in their garden. The standard size is 3.0 x 3.6m, but we are flexible in our sizes, and because all our buildings are made to order, we are able to alter our designs to accommodate our customers when they need us to.

Apart from the size, this is a simple summerhouse: the customer chose our heavy duty felt for the roof (the standard option), which has been heat bonded on to increase its longevity, there is no lining internally, and the customer chose our light oak preservative on the exterior.  We recommend that customers repaint their building after 6 months if they have chosen light oak preservative, which means once they have made a few upgrades to the interior, they will be able to paint the exterior of their building in a colour of their choice.

The one extra the customer did choose was double glazing, which will help to decrease noise levels from outside and help regulate the temperature a bit more inside.

The Morston, along with our Blakeney and Holkham Summerhouses all come unlined and unpainted as standard, which allows our customers a flexibility in design to make a building they have tailored to their own purposes. This means that they can either be very simple, or more luxurious with electrics, different roofing materials, paint systems, and interior options.
