8 x 8ft Painted Chalet Summerhouse

This 8 x 8ft painted chalet summerhouse is the Blakeney Summerhouse, designed and hand-made to order at our Norfolk factory. It was made to our customer's specification from FSC® certified timber before being delivered and installed at their address by members of our hardworking and trustworthy installations team. We include delivery and installation in the price of all our buildings so you have peace of mind that your building is being installed by experts, while also ensuring it is made to the high standards we pride ourselves on.

With its chalet-inspired design, the Blakeney will bring a sense of the beach to your garden. It has an apex roof design that features a charming overhang to the front of the building. It has a single fixed window on either side of the double doors and a single fixed window on both sides. The Blakeney can be made in a wide variety of sizes so you can choose the size that is the best fit for your garden. Our customer has chosen our 8 x 8ft size for their chalet summerhouse. The apex roof is covered in heavy-duty felt, which is our standard roof covering for this building, but if you wish, you can upgrade to one of our tiled options. The Blakeney comes unpainted as standard, but as our customer wanted a painted building, they opted to have the shiplap-clad exterior painted in Pebble from our Exterior Paint System.

The Blakeney comes unlined as the standard building design is made with summer use in mind. However, as all of our buildings are hand-crafted to order, we are able to tailor our designs to suit your needs. This customer wanted a year-round use building so, at their request, we were able to add insulation and lining to the walls and ceiling. We offer the option of natural matchboard or painted matchboard, which is the option our customer chose in our Internal Ivory shade. Our customer also had the standard floor upgraded by having a natural lacquer applied to it. The lacquer will provide the timber with protection while also giving a nice sheen.
