8 x 8ft Painted Summerhouse

This 8 x 8ft Painted Summerhouse is our Blakeney Summerhouse, selected by our customer who liked its chalet-style design. It was designed and hand-built to order in our Norfolk factory before being delivered and assembled at our customer’s address by our installations team. Delivery and installation of our FSC® Certified garden buildings are included in the overall price as part of our end-to-end service, to give you peace of mind that your new building is being installed to high standards by one of our experts.

Our Blakeney Summerhouse is available in standard sizes as small as 8 x 6ft and as large as 16 x 20ft, and we can also design more tailored sizes on request too. Our customer has opted for a Blakeney measuring 8 x 8ft. The Blakeney Summerhouse has an apex roof design that charmingly overhangs above the double doors in the gable. It has a fixed window on either side of the doors and an opening window on each side of the building. All of the windows are made using 4mm toughened safety glass and they have been double glazed as extra for comfort purposes. Our customer has chosen to have grey slate effect tiles laid on the roof and the shiplap clad exterior to be painted in Sage, a subtle green colour from our Exterior Paint System.

Our Blakeney comes unlined as standard, but as our customer wanted to use the building all year round, they have opted to have the inside of the Summerhouse fully lined and insulated. The walls and ceiling have been lined with natural matchboard and a natural lacquer has been applied to the floor, which will help to protect the timber while also giving it a natural sheen.
