10 x 16ft Timber Garage

This large timber garden building is one of our 10 x 16ft Timber Garages, installed for a customer needing a building to use for both storage and workshop purposes. After our customer had decided which building and what design features they wanted including, our CAD engineers were then able to create from scratch the manufacturing plans for the building, including a plan for the concrete base that our Garages sit on. We design each building individually to ensure it is tailor-made to the needs of our customers. Like of our garden buildings, this 10 x 16ft Garage was hand-crafted from FSC® certified timber in our Norfolk factory before being delivered and assembled at our customer’s address by our installations team. We include delivery and installation by our experts in the overall price of our buildings as part of our end-to-end service.

Our Garages are available in a range of standard sizes with the largest being 16 x 20ft and the smallest 10 x 16ft, which is the size this customer has opted for. We know that not every garden can accommodate a standard size garden building, which is why we also offer a number of customisable sizes on request as well. Our customers 10 x 16ft Garage has an apex roof design with a set of double doors in the front gable, which will aid with getting larger items in and out of the building with ease, and there’s also a single personnel door in the gable end. On the side of the garage, there is a triple window set. All of the windows are made using toughened safety glass and the middle window is also an opening one. The apex roof on this garage is covered with heavy-duty roofing felt and guttering has also been fitted, which will help to collect any excess water run-off from the roof and deposit it away from the building to protect the bottom boards. The exterior of this building is shiplap clad and it has been treated with a Light Oak preservative.

To make the Garage suitable for year-round use, our customer has opted for the walls and ceiling to be fully insulated and lined with oak faced ply. Our customer has also chosen to have an electric pack add to their Garage as another optional extra, which will supply it with power and lighting.
