8 x 12ft Painted Summerhouse

This 8 x 12ft Painted Summerhouse is one of our Holkham Summerhouses, with a design that blends both traditional and contemporary elements. As all our garden buildings are made to order, our customer was able to select both the interior and exterior design options they wanted in order to create their dream summerhouse. It was hand-crafted from FSC® certified timber inside our Norfolk factory located at our HQ before being delivered and installed at our customer’s address by our expert installations team, which was included in the overall price of the building.

Our Holkham Summerhouse has a classic pitched roof along with plenty of glazing. It is available in a wide range of sizes, from 1.8 x 2.4m to 4.8 x 6.0m with plenty of sizes in between. Our customer opted for an 8 x 12ft Summerhouse, with grey slate effect tiles covering the roof and Georgian windows. To bring the building in line with permitted development regulations, the pitch of the roof on this Holkham has been reduced to ensure the overall height was less than 2.5m. The garden summerhouse has a smooth shiplap clad exterior, and it has been painted with our Exterior Paint System. The colour our customer has opted for is Sage, a beautiful, green-toned shade that will complement any garden setting and blend in perfectly with surrounding greenery.

The Holkham is traditionally an unlined building, but to make it suitable for year-round use, you can upgrade to full internal lining and insulation, just like this customer has! You may want to consider having electrics installed, like our customer has, to supply your garden summerhouse with power and lighting. Our customer also opted to add double glazing and a heavy duty floor to their garden summerhouse to ensure that it is fully equipped for what they want to use it for. To complete the look of their interior, our customer has chosen Ivory painted matchboard for the walls and a natural lacquer for the floor.
