This 8 x 10ft painted summerhouse is one of our Cley Summerhouses, designed for use as a relaxation retreat for our customer. Our customer selected our Cley Summerhouse from our wide range of luxury summerhouses and chose which of our interior and exterior design options they wanted in order to tailor their new summerhouse to their tastes. Like all of our garden buildings, this timber summerhouse was designed to order by our CAD engineers and hand-crafted from FSC® certified timber by skilled craftsmen in our Norfolk factory. It was then delivered and installed at our customer’s address by experts from our installations team, which we include in the overall cost.
The Cley Summerhouse is a classically shaped summerhouse with an elegant hipped roof. It is available in a wide range of sizes, with our customer selecting our 8 x 10ft size. It has a set of double doors and two fixed windows in the front of the building, two double opening windows in the back wall, and an additional double opening window installed on the right-hand side. The hopped roof is covered in grey slate effect tiles and the windows are Georgian in style. The exterior is clad with weatherboard cladding, which is made with FSC® certified timber boards that are left sawn for a more rustic finish. The 8 x 10ft painted summerhouse is finished using Farrow & Ball’s rich and fully opaque paint system in a two-tone fashion. The main colour selected for our customer’s luxury summerhouse is Old White, with the doors and windows of this painted summerhouse subtly highlighted in Pointing.
Internally, the Cley benefits from having its walls and ceiling insulated and lined for year-round comfort. The walls and ceiling are lined using natural matchboard as standard, but for an alternative look, you can opt to have them lined with painted matchboard, either in our Internal Ivory or your choice of colour(s) from 8 Farrow & Ball interior shades. Our customer opted to have both the walls and ceiling lined in Ivory painted matchboard, which gives a bright and clean looking finish inside. Our customer also opted to have a natural lacquer applied to the floor, which will protect the timber while giving it a nice sheen. These are just a few examples of the optional extras we offer to customise your new summerhouse to your personal requirements and tastes. You could opt to add floor insulation, double glazing and electrics to your summerhouse for further comfort and you could choose to add engineered flooring to add even more style to your interior.
Whether you require a traditional summerhouse like our Cley, or you are looking for a more modern design, we have plenty of styles for you to choose from in our summerhouse collection.
