10 x 16ft Garden Summerhouse

This 10 x 16ft garden summerhouse is our Cley Summerhouse, installed for a customer wanting a space where they could unwind and enjoy their garden from. Like all of our garden summerhouses, this Cley was hand-made to order, meaning our customer could choose all the features they wanted to have included within their design in order to tailor it to their needs. The manufacturing plans were created by our CAD engineers and passed over to the skilled craftsmen inside our Norfolk factory, who were then able to hand-craft our customer’s luxury summer house from FSC® certified timber. This beautiful summerhouse was delivered and installed at our customer’s address by our hard-working and trustworthy installations team, which we include in the overall price of all our buildings.

Our Cley Summerhouse is a traditionally shaped summerhouse with an elegant hipped roof. It is available in a wide range of sizes, with 10 x 16ft being the size our customer chose. The hipped roof of this luxury summer house has been covered in grey slate effect tiles and guttering has also been installed, which will collect excess rainwater runoff from the roof and deposit it away from the building, protecting the bottom boards. Our customer also opted to have Georgian windows installed on their outdoor summerhouse. The exterior is clad with smooth shiplap, which has been painted in Saltwater from our Exterior Paint System.

Internally, the Cley comes with the walls and ceiling lined and insulated as standard, ensuring the summerhouse can be used in every season. For further comfort, our customer has chosen to add floor insulation and double glazing to their outdoor summer house. They have also opted to have electrics installed to supply their summerhouse with power and lighting. Our customer wanted their relaxation room to have the addition of a toilet room for convenience. While we do not offer plumbing services with any of our buildings, we were able to design this Cley with a WC by adding two partition walls inside. The walls inside this insulated summerhouse are lined with Ivory painted matchboard and a natural lacquer has been applied to the floor, which will help to protect the timber while also giving it a nice sheen.
