8 x 10ft Painted Cley Summerhouse

This 8 x 10ft Garden Summerhouse has been installed for a couple that have recently moved house and wanted a building from which they could enjoy the beauty of their new garden. They opted for one of our Cley Summerhouses as they liked it classic shape and hipped roof. As with all of our garden buildings, this Cley was designed and hand-made to order to ensure that it met all of our customer’s requirements. The manufacturing plans were drawn by our expert CAD engineers before the building itself was crafted by hand by our skilled workforce inside our factory at our HQ in Narford, Norfolk. It was then delivered and assembled at our customer’s address by our trustworthy installations team. 

Our Cley Summerhouses come with windows in three out of the four sides, as well as in the double doors, to afford a light and airy feel inside. They are all made using 4mm toughened safety glass, but our customer has opted to have them leaded in style to make the windows more to their taste. To adapt the building further to suit their personal style, our customer has opted to have the roof covered in Cedar Shingles that will naturally weather to a lovely silver/grey colour over time, and the exterior painted in the shade Ash, a soft, neutral toned colour from our exterior paint system. 

The walls and ceiling of a Cley Summerhouse come lined and insulated as standard to enable the building to be used comfortably throughout the year. Our customer has also chosen to add double glazing and an electric pack as extra to turn their summerhouse into the perfect all-seasons retreat. The matchboard lining on the walls has been painted in the colour Ivory to give it a fresh look.

Our customer opted for an 8 x 10ft Summerhouse, but our Cley is available in a range of sizes from 6 x 8ft to 12 x 16ft, with plenty of sizes in between.
