16 x 12ft Summerhouse

This 16 x 12ft summerhouse is one of our Blakeney Summerhouses, delivered and installed at our customer’s address by members of our hardworking installations team. All of our buildings are hand-made to order by skilled craftsmen inside our factory at our HQ in Norfolk, so our customer was able to choose which of our interior and exterior design options they wanted to tailor their new summerhouse to their needs and tastes. We include delivery and installation by us in the overall price of all our garden buildings to give you peace of mind that your new building is being installed by an expert while also maintaining the high standards that we pride ourselves on.

The Blakeney Summerhouse has a chalet-style design that will bring a sense of the beach to your garden. It is available in a wide range of sizes so you can choose the size that best suits your garden. The size our customer chose for their luxury summerhouse was 16 x 12ft. The Blakeney has an apex roof design that features a charming overhang. The roof is covered in grey slate effect roof tiles and guttering has also been installed. They are two sets of fixed windows to the front and a set of opening windows on either side. The exterior has rustic-style weatherboard cladding made using FSC® certified timber boards that are left sawn. Our customer opted to have their Blakeney Summerhouse delivered and installed with a painted finish in a two-tone style using our Exterior Paint System. The main colour chosen by our customer is Pebble, with the door and window frames highlighted beautifully in Ivory.

Internally, the Blakeney is an unlined summerhouse as standard, but as our customer wanted a year-round use building, we were able to add full insulation to the walls, floor and ceiling, and lining. Our customer also chose to add double glazing, and electrics and a heater for further comfort. Our customer had a choice between solid pine natural matchboard or painted matchboard for the internal lining, they chose to have both the walls and ceiling lined with Ivory painted matchboard, providing a light, homely feel inside. Our customer also chose to upgrade the standard flooring inside this painted summerhouse to engineered flooring in the colour Shade Oak, which will not only add style to our customer’s building but will provide further insulating and sound-absorbing benefits.
