This 12 x 12ft timber summerhouse is one of our Wiveton Summerhouses, installed for a customer wanting a space where they could relax and enjoy the beauty of their surroundings from. As all of our luxury summerhouses are designed to order, our customer was able to select which of our interior and exterior design options they wanted in order to create their tailor-made summerhouse. The manufacturing plans were created by our in-house CAD engineers, ready for the skilled craftsmen in our Norfolk factory to hand-craft the summerhouse to order from FSC® certified timber. It was then delivered and installed at our customer’s address by our hardworking installations team, who are the experts in ensuring our buildings are assembled to the high standards we pride ourselves on. For that reason, we include delivery and installation in the price of all our timber summerhouses as part of our end-to-end service.
The Wiveton is an octagonal summerhouse with windows in four out of its eight sides, as well as in the double doors. This amount of glazing will allow plenty of natural light to flood the interior while also offering you the opportunity to appreciate your garden from multiple angles as you unwind. The Wiveton is available in four different sizes, with our customer opting for a 12 x 12ft timber summerhouse, which is the largest size that this particular summerhouse is made in. This luxury summerhouse has leaded windows, grey slate effect roof tiles, and smooth shiplap cladding. The Wiveton Summerhouse is finished in your choice of colour from our Exterior Paint System as standard, so our customer opted to have the exterior of their summerhouse painted in Ash. If you would like a further choice of colours, you can upgrade your paint system and choose one of our specially selected Farrow & Ball colours.
Internally, the Wiveton is equipped for year-round use as its walls and ceiling come insulated and lined as standard. For further comfort, our customer has opted to add floor insulation and double glazing to their luxury summerhouse. They also chose to have an electric pack installed so that the timber summerhouse could be supplied with power and lighting. The lining on the walls has been upgraded to painted matchboard in the shade Ivory and a natural lacquer has been applied to the floor, which will protect the timber while also giving it a nice sheen.
Whether you are looking for an insulated summerhouse for year-round use or an unlined summerhouse that can be enjoyed in the warmer months of the year, we have many different styles for you to choose from in our summerhouses collection that can be tailored to your requirements. After viewing our timber summerhouses online, we would recommend that you pay a visit to one of our UK show centres so you can take a closer look at the quality of them. If you would like to discuss your summerhouse requirements with us before you visit, we will be more than happy to help.
