8 x 10ft Octagonal Summerhouse Painted in Exterior Lizard

This lovely 8 x 10ft (2.4 x 3.0m) octagonal timber garden building is our Wiveton Summerhouse, and it has been installed in our customer’s garden to use as a relaxation and entertainment spot to enjoy cups of tea with a friend or on their own while admiring their garden.

Cedar shingle tiles have been used on the roof, which add a rustic, country feel to the building that a lot of our customers really love: they start off as a warm terracotta colour, and slowly weather to a silver/grey over the course of around 6 months.

The windows in this summerhouse are leaded to add to the traditional style, and the painted colour the customer chose was Lizard from our opaque Exterior paint range.

Internally, there is insulation in the walls and ceiling, and the customer opted to have the solid pine matchboard lining painted in Farrow & Ball’s Lime White to create a bright, more homely interior.

If you are looking for a building that you can use throughout the year, you can also choose to have double glazed windows, floor insulation, and an electric pack to help with this; however, equally, if you are looking for a more basic summerhouse, our 8 x 10ft Classic Summerhouse is octagonal in shape, and comes unlined as standard.
