10 x 8ft Summerhouse Shed

This 10 x 8ft Summerhouse Shed is one of our Blakeney Summerhouses. Our customer wanted a garden building to use as a potting shed, but they also wanted it to look attractive in their garden, which is why they opted for one of our chalet-style Blakeney Summerhouses. It was designed by our CAD engineers before being hand-crafted to order from FSC® certified timber inside our Norfolk factory. It was then delivered and installed in our customer’s garden by our installations experts, which was included in the overall price of the Summerhouse Shed as part of our end-to-end service.

Our Blakeney Summerhouse is available in a wide range of sizes, with the smallest size we make measuring 8 x 6ft and the largest being 16 x 20ft. Our customer has opted for our 3.0 x 2.4m size so that their Summerhouse Shed fit perfectly at the bottom of their garden. Our Blakeney Summerhouse has an apex roof design that charming overhangs above the double doors. It also has two fixed windows to the front of the building. The roof of this Blakeney Summerhouse is covered in terracotta slate effect tiles and the exterior is weatherboard clad, which is machined from timber boards that are left sawn for a more rustic finish. To complete the exterior of this building, our customer opted to have it painted using the colour French Gray from Farrow & Ball. Our Blakeney Summerhouse comes unpainted as standard, but you can upgrade to a colour from our Exterior Paint System, or a shade from Farrow & Ball, just like this customer did.

Internally, the Blakeney Summerhouse comes unlined as standard, making it the ideal building to enjoy during the summer months of the year. If you want an all year-round use building, you can upgrade our Blakeney to add full internal lining, insulation, and double glazing. Our customer chose to have a natural lacquer applied to the floor, which will give it a nice sheen, and they also opted to have one of our oak faced ply workbenches installed inside to give them room to work on their potting.
