12 x 18ft Modern Salthouse Studio

This 12 x 18ft modern garden studio is one of our Salthouse Studios, and it has been installed for a customer who wanted a building from which they could work from home. They chose our Salthouse as they liked its sleek and contemporary design, and they also wanted a building that came fully lined and insulated as standard so they could comfortably use it all throughout the year. Once our customer had selected the style of building they liked, it was then designed and hand-made to order inside the factory at our HQ in Norfolk, to meet our customer’s exact requirements.

Our Salthouse Studio is available in a range of different sizes, with 6 x 8ft being the smallest and 16 x 20ft being the biggest. This customer has opted for a 12 x 18ft studio with a pent roof and shiplap cladding coming as part of the standard design. The Salthouse’s most distinguishable feature is its fully glazed front elevation, with floor-to-ceiling double glazed glass panels fitted across the length of the front side, which will allow plenty of natural light to flood the inside of the studio. Two opening fanlight windows have also been fitted at the rear of the building for ventilation purposes. To ensure the building was fit for purpose, our customer has opted to have an electric pack installed as an optional extra so they could have power and lighting inside.

To decorate, the Salthouse has Farrow & Ball painted matchboard lining inside, in the shade Shadow White, which is complemented nicely by the Heritage Oak engineered flooring selected as extra by our customer. The exterior is painted in the Farrow & Ball exterior paint shade of Down Pipe, a dark lead grey colour.
