This 10 x 20ft (3.0 x 6.0m) Burnham Studio has been installed in our customer’s garden to be used as a garden retreat come games room for their grown-up children.
The Burnham is a blend of both modern and traditional, with fully glazed doors and windows giving the user a light-filled modern space, and the apex roof offers extra internal height with a more traditional style.
This Burnham has double doors in the centre with three windows on either side of the doors, offering a wall of glass.
The roof of this Studio has been covered with our grey slate effect tiles, which are an attractive and highly durable material. The external cladding is shiplap for a smooth finish, and the paint colour the customer chose is Lizard, a green colour that will bend in nicely to the garden surroundings, from our opaque Exterior paint range.
Internally, our Studios are fully insulated and lined with natural solid pine matchboarding, and all the windows are double glazed. The customer also chose to have an electric pack with a heater, so they will be able to make use of this building all year-round.
There are two fanlight windows in the back wall to allow for ventilation during the warmer months, and the building has been finished off with polished brass door and window furniture.
