This 10 x 14ft modern garden office has been installed for a customer in need of a garden building from which they could work from home. They opted for our Holt Studio as they liked its contemporary design that features two walls of glazing. After our customer has chosen what exterior and interior design options they wanted to have included on their building, the manufacturing plans were drawn to order by our CAD engineers, which were then passed over to the craftsmen inside our Norfolk factory to hand-craft the building from FSC® certified timber. Delivery and installation of this and all our garden buildings was included in the price as part of our end-to-end service.
Our Holt is available in 12 standard sizes, with the smallest being 3.0 x 3.0m and the largest measuring 4.6 x 7.0m, and you can also chose whether you would like a left-hand or right-hand corner design. Our customer has chosen to have their garden office studio in a left-hand corner configuration, measuring 3.2 x 4.4m. The Holt has an overhanging pent roof and a small, decked veranda that is connected by two exterior walls, which we have called ‘Cheeks’ as they nicely frame the building. It comes with heavy duty felt on the roof and shiplap cladding as standard, painted in your choice of colour from either our Exterior Paint System or an upgraded Farrow & Ball shade. This customer has chosen to have their building painted in Slate from our Exterior Paint System and they also added guttering to it as extra.
To make Holt Studio suitable for working from home, it comes fully lined, insulated, and double glazed as standard to ensure year-round comfort inside. The walls are lined with our natural solid pine lining, giving a warm and homely feel, and an electric pack was installed as extra in order to supply this modern garden office with power and lighting.
