17 x 20ft Garden Room

This 17 x 20ft Garden Room has been installed for our customer to use as a pool room. This customer’s Garden Room, like all our garden buildings, was designed to order by our CAD engineers to tailor it to the needs of our customer. They were able to choose everything from the window type, roof covering, cladding option and exterior paint colour, to all of the interior options to ensure it was everything they hoped for, from both a practical and stylistic point of view. All our garden buildings are hand-crafted from FSC® certified timber inside our Norfolk factory before they are delivered and installed in our customers’ gardens by members of our expert installations team.

Our hipped roof Garden Rooms can be made in many sizes, from a small 10 x 10ft to a larger 18 x 20ft, with plenty of other measurements in between. Our customer opted for a 17 x 20ft Garden Room, with two partitions to create a small washroom, accessed via an external door in the left-hand side of the building. To allow plenty of natural light inside their pool room, our customer chose to have plenty of windows installed, with two double window sets on either side of the glazed double doors, a double and a single-window set on both sides of the Garden Room, and Velux® windows in the roof. All the windows are opening and are Georgian in style (excluding the Velux® windows).

The hipped roof of this Garden Room is lined by white guttering and covered in cedar shingles while the weatherboard clad exterior is painted in Verdigris from our exterior paint system, with the doors and windows highlighted in Ivory.

Our Garden Room is fully equipped for year-round use, with full internal lining, insulation, double glazing, and an electric pack with heater, all included as standard features. The walls are lined in Ivory painted matchboard and our engineered flooring has been laid in the colour Heritage Oak. Our engineered floorboards sit on top of the existing floorboards, with a layer of underlay in between the two, providing further insulating and sound-absorbing benefits.
